Jacqui and Andrew get married

Jacqui Tumney and Andrew Stocker, dig volunteers since 2007, got married in a quiet ceremony on Friday May 14th. I twisted their arms so they have shared a few photos. Congratulations!

2011 planning

Good news for our regular readers - After much discussion about whether it was time to have a break from Inverloch, we will probably have a dig in February 2011. We still have a number of details to work through, but here's the general outline of what we are planning:
  • it would be a smaller than usual dig, with experienced DD volunteers only
  • we would dig at Flat Rocks unless Dr Tom Rich finds another site in the Strzelecki (maybe inland?) that we should explore
  • it might be a shorter dig - maybe 3 weeks instead of 4
  • we'd have a Friends Day as in previous years (remember you can join Friends of Dinosaur Dreaming at http://dinosaurdreaming.monash.edu//friends/index.html).
I'll blog more information as it comes it hand.

Mike and Pip get married.

The bride wore a floaty dress, the groom wore a kilt.

The weather was a bit dodgy-looking but held up.

Fotini in a special outfit for the "Everybody dance like a Dinosaur" conga line at the reception.

And a few extra images for those who need to check out cars and bridesmaids dresses.

Thanks to Danielle for the great photos.
