Dig Cancelled

Our Eric the Red West dig has been cancelled. Some have gone home, some are staying one more night for the promise of Pip’s lasagne and Corrie’s mulled wine.

Back to ETRW!

Today, a small band of Dinosaur Dreamers are off to Eric the Red West to find out if the bones that we call "the block" found at the very end of the 2017 dig are part of a large fossil-dense clump.
We will be cold and wet and ravaged by wind. Wish us luck!

ETRW Planning

We are busy planning for a small crew to visit Eric the Red West in late June. It will be definitely cold, probably wet, and the tides will consipre against us. Why are we going? To find out if the area that, in 2016,  produced the concetration of fossils in known as "The Block" is broad or deep, or just a small concentration. I will post photos of our attemtps.
