We have spent most of the last day without power or phone coverage and have learnt how much we rely on both of them.
Field work was curtailed because we were taking photogrammetry records of the rock we were removing from site and we had no internet to send them back to be processed.
Dinner plans were changed at the last minute, A portable camping stove purchased for cups of tea, and diggers presenting their research was postponed or cancelled.
All is back to normal now but no-one is game to find out if we have enough hot water stored for an entire shower,,,
