Week 1 Crew Photo

We thought we'd take the Week 1 crew photo standing on the "Bridge", since it won't be there much longer!  We left the bridge in place so that we could work two smaller holes rather than shovelling out one big one, but the time has come to see what's in it.  Removing the bridge will also allow us to access other fossil-rich layers such as the "Base of the Pond".

We're off to Flat Rocks!
A few core crew are heading down this afternoon to get the house ready for the 2012 Flat Rocks Field Season starting tomorrow.  Showers are predicted for the next few days but that is not dampening our enthusiasm one bit.
