ETRW 2015

We've landed at Cape Otway and are happily extracting lots of bones.
So far we have a least one ornithopod jaw (found by Mary Walters and quite beautiful), and a possible second (we suspect it's a jaw but it has no visible teeth).
John Swinkels found an interesting curly skully thing with frills and holes that I can't wait to see prepped at the Museum, and most of our new volunteers have found their first scrap of bone.

Pterosaur Tooth

The tooth that Astrid Found

Lesley has done some work on the tooth that Astrid found on Rookies' day.  It was identified as a likely theropod tooth on the day, but it has no serrations.  We now think that it is probably a pterosaur tooth.  Thanks to Lesley for the lovely image with much of the matrix removed.

Safety glasses
