Dig in!

Dream no longer dear Dinosaurs
Diggers have returned to your shores
Excitement is high as we dig
We know we will find something big
But whether finds be big or small
We’ve all responded to your call
We are here and may the fun begin
We know for sure that we will win.
Digging from dawn to afternoon
Hoping the tide won’t come too soon
Weary, we take back rocks to break
At home - if we can stay awake!

I have boxes of Field Reports in my car

... and I think they are looking awesome!
Huge thanks to all our contributors and my superhumanly patient proof-readers.

Three days to go!

Three days until the Week 1 dino diggers descend on the dig house in Cape Paterson. We will be working the Flat Rocks site near Inverloch once again - initially targeting the layer near the rock we extracted in October 2017 and which yielded a rather interesting mammal jaw.
Field Report Day is on the 23rd February at the Bunurong Environment Centre in Inverloch, where we hope to be able to show off anything cool we find in the first two weeks of digging.
